Gulf Coast Social Services is authorized by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to provide personal care attendant services for disabled military veterans that are referred by the Department’s Medical Staff. The individuals must be currently receiving treatment and have a documented need for personal care services in order to be referred by VA.

services provided
Personal care services include:
- Bathing
- Light Housekeeping
- Assistance with laundry
- Assistance with bed making and/or changing linens
Services cannot exceed 240 hours for a one year period and are usually dispensed a couple hours per day, two or three times a week.
