Four clients of the Baton Rouge Day Habilitation Center took part in the Special Olympics held in Baton Rouge last week (March 6-8). The event gathered over 600 athletes throughout the state to compete in bowling and basketball. The four GCTFS consumers are members of Circle Bowl's Special People League and have been practicing their skills on Tuesday nights at the bowling alley. In the team events, Daniel and Jimmy won a silver medal and Monique won a bronze medal. In the individual events, Daniel won a silver medal and Ryan won a bronze medal. Congratulations are in order!
