Power of 9 Volunteer Recognition Luncheon 02/01/2008

Two of our volunteers, Leo and Jeanette Blaize, were recognized on Thursday, January 31, 2008 at the Power of 9 Volunteer Recognition Luncheon. This program, sponsored by Capital One Bank, WAFB-TV and Volunteer! Baton Rouge, celebrates individuals or groups who go the extra mile to make a significant impact in their community. A new honoree is recognized each month and featured on the WAFB-TV evening news. The luncheon celebrated all twelve recipients for the year 2007. Leo and Jeanette Blaize were recognized in October 2007 for their dedication to GCTFS: they have been volunteering with our agency for eight years, helping the marketing department every month with their bulk mail.

Congratulations to the Blaizes and thank you for your kindness and support!
