Christmas Card Contest 12/04/2009
In October, the Baton Rouge Office organized a Christmas Card Contest. All clients were welcome to participate. The objectives of the contest were to encourage clients to use their creative skills and to select a design for the official Office Christmas Card. Participation was great with 28 entries. The originality and diversity of the drawings made it really hard for the judges to decide on a winner!
A party was held on Thursday, December 3rd at the Activity Center to congratulate all the artists on their talented work and unveil which design had been chosen. Lee Andre, one of our foster children, won the top prize with his Snowman that was made into a card and mailed to the Baton Rouge Office's community partners. Four other designs were printed into cards as well and are currently for sale on the GCTFS website at www.gctfs.org/christmas.
Congratulations to all the participants and thank you for all your beautiful creations!
