GCTFS-Lafayette and the LaChip Program participated to the statewide Covering Kids and Families Coalition Meeting that was held in New Orleans on August 25. The topics of discussion were Louisiana Health First, Neighborhood Place Model, and LaChip. The meeting was open to the public. Some noted people who attended were Denise Calhoun, Chair of LA CKF, Sybil Richard, DHH Deputy Secretary, and Ruth Kennedy, LaChip Director. Latonia Miller-Harrison and Rick Dawes represented GCTFS LaChip program.
