Thanksgiving Potluck 11/10/2008
The Baton Rouge office hosted its Annual Consumer Thanksgiving Potluck on Thursday, November 6.
It was the occasion for clients, field employees and office staff to get together and share a nice meal. There was a multitude of foods, from dressings to casseroles and sweets. The GCTFS office provided the ham, turkey, yams and gravy. Clients and workers brought the sides and desserts. The coordinators, program directors and administrative staff all pitched in to serve food to over 70 hungry participants! And like a true Thanksgiving dinner, there were leftovers to take home.
The turnout was great and everybody had a great time: what a nice way to kick off the holiday season!
