SIL consumers met on Thursday for their Learning Center gathering (a workshop where they can learn various skills -hygiene skills, math skills, social skills, crafts, house cleaning tips, safety tips- and socialize). They took time to celebrate several birthdays and plan for upcoming events:

• On April 4th, they will attend the Special Olympics Track and Field selections to participate to the State Games in May.
• They also started preparations for the SIL auction that will take place during the Lafayette Region BBQ and will help defray some of the costs of their annual summer trip, scheduled on June 10-13 to Orange,AL.
